Amusement Mile Guide – LEGO DC Super Villains

Amusement Mile was initially a district built back in the olden days of Gotham, but over time the massive amusement park in the area fell apart due to lack of financial support.  After a while, Amusement Mile started to become the notorious hiding place of The Joker, where he lays locked up in his coop at the top of his tower.  There have been whispers of Killer Croc slithering below the icy docks of the park…this guide will show you how to unlock him and the other 9 collectibles hidden in the area.

Gold Bricks (9)

 

 1. Grand Reopening

Requirement: Already available.

Grand Reopening is the “cornerstone” of Amusement Mile.  Once this gold brick is completed, other gold bricks will start popping up all over the map.  Luckily, this puzzle is quite simple!  First, you will need to recruit two goons and pull apart the truck to the left of the entrance shown in the picture.  Then, build the resulting pieces into some fireworks.  After, head to the car to the right of the entrance (also visible in the picture) and pull it apart using a grapple character and build the resulting pieces into an Impact Switch.  Hit the impact switch with a character like Harley Quinn or Clayface and watch those fireworks ignite and open up the park!  Your gold brick will become available at the entrance.

 

 2. Short Fuse

Requirement: Already available.

For this gold brick, you will simply need to just use a telekinetic character to put the fuse pieces in the right place.  If you’re confused on where to put the pieces, use the picture above.  After putting all four pieces in place, the shutter will open and the trapped goon will toss you a gold brick.

 

 3. Coaster Crisis

Requirement: Already available.

Activate the battery switch on the top of the coaster to turn on the buttons.  Then, press the buttons by the coaster (the ones labeled 1, 2, 3).  If a button stays on, then that’s the right button.  If the button turns back off, then you need to try a different button.  After completing the buttons puzzle, activate the tech panel to start the coaster up and get your brick!

 

 4. A Shocking Ride

Requirement: Already available.

For this gold brick, you will simply need to break open the cracked wall to the right of the dodgems with a super strength character, and then charge up the charging unit with an electricity character.  The dodgems will become electrified, shocking the poor citizens inside!  Your gold brick will show up near the dodgems, where you can collect it.

 

 5. Un-Fun House

Requirement: Already available.

Note: This gold brick is located inside Joker’s Fun House.

First, cut open the gold wall on the right and complete the switch inside to activate the x-ray wall.  Then, turn all the dials to >> on the x-ray puzzle as shown in the second picture to free the goon in the box and recruit him.  Then, go to the second level and use Mirror Master (or any other character with portals) to navigate the goon through the Mirror walls.  Then, go to the upper level and use a stealth character to pull the switch and free the goon.  Finally, take all the goons back to the first floor and pull open the wall to the left of the entrance to retrieve your gold brick!

 

 6. Crockery Crasher

Requirement: Requires Gold Brick #1 “Grand Reopening” and Gold Brick #2 “Short Fuse”

In order to earn this gold brick, you’ll need to shoot various green and white plates to earn enough points.  However, you might find that this game is impossible to win!  In order to make this game winnable, you’re going to need to scan the wall on the left side of the game booth and power up the hidden charging unit with a character like Grid who has both powers.  Doing this will overcharge the game, making the plates appear faster and more often, giving you the opportunity to win your gold brick!

 

 7. At the Range

Requirement: Requires Gold Brick #1 “Grand Reopening” and Gold Brick #6 “Crockery Crasher”

First, blow up the Silver LEGO Bear near the entrance of the game, and build it into a lantern construct pad to break apart the boards.  Then, sit down at one of the guns and shoot as many targets as you can in the time limit.  If you shoot enough targets, you’ll get your gold brick at the end of the game.

 

 8. Harlequin Hydration

Requirement: Requires Gold Brick #1 “Grand Reopening” and Gold Brick #2 “Short Fuse”

When the joker heads’ mouths are open, you can shoot water into them to fill up the balloons.  Note that the balloons will start to drain if you’re not spraying water into it.  For optimal strategy, focus on one head, and then switch to another head when the first head’s mouth is closed, then switch back to the initial head once the second head’s mouth is closed.  Continue this process until all balloons are filled to get your gold brick.

 

 9. Destruction Dodgems

Requirement: Requires Gold Brick #4 “A Shocking Ride”

You’re going to start by destroying the same cracked wall as you did in “A Shocking Ride,” and then use a character with the speed force and ride the treadmill inside.  After collecting the ten pieces in the Speed Force, your character will return to the normal world and build them into a contraption that will repair the dodgems.  Watch the visitors jump in and get your gold brick!

1. Croc Clash (Killer Croc)

Requirement: Complete Gold Brick #1 “Grand Reopening”

Boss fight time!  Killer Croc is just like any other boss fight – big, mean, nasty – but he’s a bigfig!  He’s much more difficult as a result, so I would advise using a bigfig character against him to make the fight easier.

Vehicle Token

1. Exit Out the Front Gate (Joker’s Truck)

Requirement: Requires Gold Brick #1 “Grand Reopening”

This is a standard gliding race.  If you fail the race partway through you can always switch to a flying character to finish the rest of the race.
