Lemuria Puzzles

Puzzles will appear on your map as green puzzle pieces. These puzzles require a whole host of abilities or characters to solve, and usually unlock Gold Bricks! Here is a recap of this area’s puzzles:

Lights Out

  • Unlocks: Gold Brick

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

On the side of a building on the edge of Lemuria closest to Manhattan there are 9 buttons that control both a platform and lights at the top of this puzzle. The point of this puzzle is to turn on all of the lights by pressing these buttons until you get the right combination. First using the silver blow up ability destroy the two obstacles blocking two of the buttons. Each time you press a button it will affect the button and platform directly above, below, to the left, and to the right of it.

The trick to solving this puzzle is to have the platforms active in one of the corners only. Next press the button in the corner so the only platforms that are affected are the only two in contact with it.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Once all of the buttons have turned green and the lights are all on you will be awarded with a gold brick!

Ferried Treasure

Unlocks: Gold Brick

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Above Lemuria there is a ferry with it’s captain, he explains that the control panel nearby controls the ferry’s new safety feature. Activate the control panel to break it and send 2 batteries floating to the ocean floor.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Next make your way to the ocean floor and destroy the two batteries and make a Gravity Bomb Device from the resulting bricks.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Once the Gravity Bomb Device has been built activate it with a gravity bomb to send the diving bell rushing towards it and collect the gold brick that was hiding inside.

Four Switches

Unlocks: Gold Brick

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

To gain access to a gold brick safely locked away behind a laser grid you will need to find, build, and flip 4 switches hidden in or around the building where the brick resides.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

One of the switches you need to flip is a freebie and is out in the open inside the building, the others are not as simple. One of the switches can be built using the debris from the chandelier hanging inside.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

The third switch is built using the debris from the tank also inside the building, you will need the Sonar ability in order to destroy it.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

The fourth switch is found outside of the building behind glass, the Sonar ability is also required to gain access to this switch. Once all four switches have been flipped the laser grid will be completely shut down and you will be awarded a gold brick.

Gold Rush

Unlocks: Gold Brick

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

At the very top of a tower there is a gold brick locked away behind a green force field and the only way to shut down the field is to flip four switches but this time there is a catch. As soon you flip the first switch you have 35 seconds to flip the other 3. Not only are you racing against the clock to flip these four switches, each switch is lock behind an ability specific obstacle.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

The very first switch is not locked behind a barrier but is hidden from view. This Switch is at the base of the tower underneath the bridge leading to it.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

The second switch is hidden behind a wall that requires the smash ability to break it down.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

The third switch requires the Chi Charge ability to gain access to it.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

The fourth and final switch is located higher than the rest and the Strength ability is needed to open the gate it’s locked behind. Once you have gained access to all four switches make you way back to lowest one, flip it, and rush your way to each switch until you have flipped all 4 within the 35 seconds to be awarded the gold brick!

Obstruct the Kraken!

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Throughout Lemuria there are 5 holes scattered in which a set of giant tentacles protrude from. Every time you attack these tentacles they retreat through the hole and pop up at another one somewhere else. In order to defeat this beast you must obstruct these holes with various pieces of the environment.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

One of these holes can be obstructed by using the telekinesis ability to move a piece of wall décor on it.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

To obstruct this hole use the rope pull ability to bring down the arch.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Heat ability is required to obstruct this hole by melting the gold décor.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

The silver blow up ability will obstruct this hole.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Once the other 4 holes have been obstructed the tentacles will not be able to run away when attacked! Land the final blow and watch as the tentacles scurry away in fear leaving a gold brick behind.

Catch the Seashell

Unlocks: Gold Brick

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

A game show host wants you to be a contestant on his not so catchy game CATCH THE SEASHELL but gaining access to the dome is not as straightforward as just walking on set.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

First you will need to use the shrink ability to jump into the nearby control panel to expand the air vent leading up into the dome.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Next use the pieces that appeared from the chest to build a vent and use the vent travel ability to make your way up to the dome.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Catch 20 seashells to win but avoid the starfish as those take away from your total.

Like a Wrecking Ball

Unlocks: Gold Brick

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Doctor Strange is needed in order to break down this all and gain access to the cave on the other side.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Next use the dig ability to dig up a purple ball. Once the ball has appeared use the telekinesis ability to send the ball flying off screen, make your way towards the cave entrance and use the dig ability once more. Again a purple ball will appear after using dig and again use the telekinesis ability to send the ball flying once more.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

After building a grapple hook from the resulting debris caused by the flying ball use the one rope grapple ability to get a third and final ball. Use the telekinesis ability to send the ball flying one final time and collect the gold brick you free in the process.

Gold Digger

Unlocks: Gold Brick

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

Destroy these ruins and use dig ability on the pile of dirt that appears.

LEMURIA COMPLETION GUIDE

After using the dig ability a chest will appear, open it and collect the gold brick inside.
