Boss Encounters

Rowan

Battle Rowan’s various goons and giant ghost arms occasionally weakening him enough to hit him head on. Eventually one of Rowan’s hanging portraits will become available to destroy using LASER. Destroy the two boilers on both sides of Rowan to disable him and win the battle!

When There’s Something STRONG!

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Use a character with SUPER STRENGTH HANDLE to pull open the elevator on the right side of the lobby!

Who You Gonna Call?

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Use SONAR SMASH to break open the telephone booth in the top right corner of the lobby to collect the minikit.

I Ain’t Afraid Of BMO Ghost!

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Use the BMO DOCK on the second floor of the lobby and beat the mini game to unlock the minikit!

Light Em Up!

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Using your proton pack, destroy the four hanging light sconces on the pillars in the lobby!

Mercado Basement – 2 Minikits

Drone Technology

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Use a character with DRONE ACCESS to activate the three switches opening lockers and revealing the minikit!

Haunted P.I.X.A.L.

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Use RELIC DETECTION on the chamber to create a TECHNOLOGY terminal, open the chamber and then use FIX IT to repair P.I.X.A.L. allowing her to free a ghost from a mirror and release a minikit!

Portal 2 Test Chamber – 4 Minikits

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

To gain access to the Portal 2 Test Chamber Secret Area you must use PORTAL GUN to fire a portal into the hanging cage on the left side of the Mercado Basement boss battle area. Then head back into the hallway you entered from (go down screen center in the room) to find the other portal opening allowing you to hop into the cage and into the secret area.

Diffindo Portal

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

This chamber wall will automatically turn over when you first enter the test chamber. Use DIFFINDO to crack open the wall and release the minikit.

Just Keep Rolling!

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Use the GYROPSHERE switch to slowly open the test chamber walls allowing a minikit to drop out!

Boomerang’in

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Use BOOMERANG to activate the switch, opening the door and revealing a minikit inside!

The Cake Isn’t A Lie

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Destroy the cake at the end of the hidden test chamber area to find the final minikit!


Rescue Character – Paul Feig

Location: Portal 2 Level

Level 3: The Mercado Building Minikits & Level Guide

Once inside the hidden Portal 2 Test Chamber level, before you head out after discovering that hidden cake, use a character with flight and head up to the top right corner of the chamber and deactivate the gravity switch to rescue Paul Feig!


Rule Breaker

You will need to collect approximately 120,000 studs to get the Rule Breaker Gold Brick!
