LEGO Movie 2 Videogame Free Galactic Adventures DLC Out Now!

Two months ago when The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game came out, players were delighted to see that the game would feature three free DLC worlds post-release.  Each of these worlds would have their own story that would bridge the gap between certain plot moments leading up to the events of The LEGO Movie 2.  As of yesterday, the DLC is now out on all platforms.  While the original game titled the DLC “Galactic Outskirts,” we now know the actual title as “Galactic Adventures.”  Again, this is FREE to all players who own The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game!  Check out the description of the DLC below:

Go beyond the movie and enjoy more galactic adventures with General Mayhem and Rex Dangervest! After the Justice League’s ship was destroyed, General Mayhem must find and take them to the Spa Planet. With The Queen’s wedding plans in disarray, General Mayhem must complete her mission and return to The Queen’s Palace to get the ceremony back on track.

Meet Rex Dangervest before he becomes the Cowboy, Space Pirate, Archaelogist, Raptor trainer that we meet in the film. As he prepares to become a galactic legend, he must tame and train the wild and uncontrollable Raptors. From skateboarding to weapons training and spaceship repair, Rex needs to get his crew in Ship-shape if he wants to meet Emmet.

Each world is unique and around the same size, at 25 Master Pieces.  Dis-Harmony City is a unique Cyberpunk city, a neon contrast to the base game’s Harmony City.  The Rexcelsior is set inside Rex’s famed ship, and the Queen’s Palace is a gloomier match to The Ceremony, set on a moon in space.

According to our pal JayShockblast, download codes for the DLC were sent out to YouTubers last week, but none of them worked.  We should have guides up for all three worlds in the near future, stay tuned for updates!
