Lego Dimensions Wave 7 has finally arrived and it’s brought with it a laundry list of issues, bugs and game crashes. All of these things aren’t too terrible and can hopefully be fixed with a quick patch in the near future. What can’t be patched or easily fixed is what appears to be a pretty big production error with the recent Fun Pack for Marceline.
The new Fun Pack, a Toys R Us timed exclusive, appears to have shipped in the US without any data on the minifigure toy tag. We personally at Bricks To Life have tried multiple Marceline packs from several Toys R Us locations and they have all failed to load. The game treats them like a vehicle toy tag, allowing you to write any vehicle or gadget you want.
Other Lego Dimensions community members like JayShockBlast have also purchased multiple Marceline packs and they’ve all turned up blank.
The issue doesn’t seem to be effecting the packs released in Canada and the UK where we have received zero reports of failure. So far the only people to share the issue with us are Americans. We’ve received reports from at least 7 different states, where some people have tried several Toys R Us stores.
For the time being you may want to hold off on picking up Marceline until the team at Lego Dimensions can get this sorted.
If you encounter a bad toy tag, make sure to reach out to Lego Dimensions support, which you can find here. Leave a comment below if you have a bad Marceline and let us know where you’re from!
